Hi Faizal,

If web server in Public subnet wants to connect with database in Private subnet, why there is Route table entry is not required? Using endpoint / database hostname of DB in private subnet, how web servers in public subnet knows that, they need to look into local ?

In the route table, there is always a default route. This will be the VPC CIDR and points to local. Which means any IP in that CIDR range will be routed locally. You cannot delete this route. This is how the public and private subnets are able to talk to each other.
