If I have a private subnet in a VPC, and I want to privately connect to other services like SNS, Elastic Beanstalk etc, I would need an ENI. (As depicted in first video at 02:04:38.)
But can I have an ENI in a private subnet?

After thinking over the topic for a little while, I realized that I mixed up EIP and ENI and that an ENI can very well exist in a private subnet.
True, EIP being a public IP while ENI is just a network interface/virtual network card which obviously has to exist even for private communication.
Yes. Thanks for clarifying.
